Entranced Publishing is holding competitions in March and April!

First up is #FridayFrenzy on Twitter every Friday in March and April. Writers are invited to submit their polish manuscripts via a 140 character twitter pitch that includes #FridayFrenzy. The senior editors at Entranced will then go through the submissions and make requests.

  • NA contemporary with strong leads.
  • NA Romance.
  • Dystopian Romance
  • Science Fiction
  • Urban Fantasy
  • Steampunk and Gaslamp
  • Paranormal Romance - request for fresh voices, flashy and fun, witty and piquant (think Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark Series) also a request for some minus "creatures".
  • Space Opera
  • Time Travel
  • Manuscripts that blur the line between Science Fiction and Fantasy
  • Historical Romance (BIG ON MULTIPLE EDITORS' WISH LISTS) including: WWII, Civil War,
  • Classic Hollywood/film industry romance.
  • Sexy Pirates, Johnny Depp style (BIG ON MULTIPLE EDITORS' WISH LISTS).
  • Sexy Space Pirates, Nathan Fillion Style.
  • "Sleeping Hunky" fairytale, where the guy is the "damsel" in distress and the MC saves the day with smooches.
  • Superhero/mutant fiction (adult or YA - a la Hush Money or Touch).
  • Re-imagined myths and fairy tales from cultures other than Greek/Roman/Anglo
  • Any manuscript with strong lead characters with intelligence, resourcefulness and wit.
